Absence management

This module manages all the processes of your company's absence policy. This includes handling absence requests, calculating vacation balances, collecting manager approvals and updating group calendars.

An invaluable tool for the daily management of staff

  • Absence management:

    • Absences are managed by type (vacation, illness, accident, training, etc). Absences can be input in terms of duration (in days or hours) or by starting & end date.
    • The module handles the manager approval process as well as the flow of validation emails
    • Once configured, the module runs unattended and HR has a simple hands-off monitoring role.
    • Absences can be recorded for individual staff or for a whole group (in the case of an office closure).
    • Annual vacation rights are calculated automatically according to company rules. The vacation right can be modified at all times by HR.
    • Vacation balances are automatically adjusted as staff take their vacations.
  • Employee and manager self-service:

    • Staff can check their groups absences, consult their vacation balances, request absences as well as read their company’s absence policy and view the list of non-working days.
    • An absence administrator can validate all absences or a manager can delegate their role to a deputee.
  • Absence groups:

    • Staff can belong to one or more absence groups. Groups are used to differentiate holiday schedules and planning.
    • A group can correspond to a section, an employer, an office or a project. It is possible to define as many groups as needed.
  • Planning, breakdown and lists:

    • The module displays a monthly or annual absence planning either for an individual staff member or for a group. Each type of absence is represented by a colored symbol.
    • For each staff member, the absences data can be displayed or printed.
    • The module delivers rich statistics by period, absence type and employee group
